Every family knows: a cancer diagnosis is rough. But the people around us – the ones who drive us to treatment, shop for the few foods we’re willing to eat, put up with us when we just feel mad at the world – they give us the hope and strength that we need to get through.
This Valentine’s season let’s give back some love.
Tell us your TRUE caregiver story
Whether you are a caregiver or you are honoring a special person who has supported you, we want to celebrate your cancer caregiver story.
Top stories will be featured on the campaign page, and two caregivers will receive a special Verishop care package, selected by award-winning actress, Kristen Bell! Verishop is also sharing one-time 20% sitewide discount codes* for all story submissions, as well as donating 20% of sales from Kristen’s guest “Tastemaker Shop” with all her favorite items.
"I am grateful to my lovely wife…”
"We count our blessings that my dad is cancer free..."
"In 2014 my 40 year old husband was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer ..."
"Believe it or not, it was Nancy Reagan who predicted I might one day face cancer."
"Stage IV prostate cancer (PCa) struck in January 2015..."
“I knew Katie was a strong woman…”
“I am honored to support the Prostate Cancer Foundation with their TRUE LOVE contest honoring caregivers for the month of February. Their selflessness and hard work is so admirable and I wanted to give love and recognition to all of these unsung heroes over this Valentine’s season.”

About the TRUE campaign
TRUE celebrates and honors caregivers of prostate cancer patients — spouses, partners, nurses, doctors, siblings, children, friends. In the U.S. every 3.2 minutes a man is diagnosed with prostate cancer and there are currently 3 million men in the U.S. battling the disease. The most fortunate among us often have someone who has made a special commitment or gone the extra mile towards supporting them through the battle. That support can make all the difference in the world to someone with a cancer diagnosis. From finding the right treatment, to recovery or palliative care, compassionate care is a key factor in all aspects of care.
Award winning actress Kristen Bell is helping to get the word out about the TRUE campaign and she’s also curating a special gift for the winner of the most inspirational caregiver story submitted to the campaign. Kristen’s mother is a nurse and her father-in-law has recently passed away from prostate cancer, so she understands first-hand the value of caregivers as part of the cancer care support system.
